Ordered the product after reading reviews and was excited to receive it. Didn't see it for awhile unfortunately so I had to call the seller to find a status. Apparently it was on back order. Person was very nice however on the other end!
Anyways, once received I noticed it had a few deep chips in the wood in a very visible area, and then I noticed a crack in one of the main support beams. Yikes. Well, I used some wood glue in the hole where it split and well let's just hope it holds long term. I also ordered a touch-up espresso colored pen to hopefully make the chips in the wood less visible. We will see how that goes.
Being a technical and thorough person, I followed the directions exactly and once put together it just didn't look right. I'm assuming someone in Malaysia where it was built put the little L sticker on the right swivel by accident. Nice, now I have to tear 90 percent of the futon apart again. And the quoted 25 minutes install time is a joke. Maybe with two people and no problems with the setup it can be done in 25, but I'd give yourself more like an hour +. I'm on about 3 now.
Thanks little L sticker for being on the wrong swivel! Long story short, it is a nice looking futon putting any major headaches that you may encounter aside. I also don't see the three positions as advertised for you can put in it couch and bed mode only. That's another bummer.

To start, I received no instructions. After three irritating phone calls, I was pointed to online PDF versions. Thanks for not forcing me to call you three times since I have all the free time in the world to sit on hold. One week later, the frame broke because two people were sitting on one-half of the futon. Clearly this is not made to handle much weight at all. Realize you're getting a one person futon, that's it.
Now the true test is how they will handle my complaints. Their customer service thus far has been very very poor, I hope they can rememdy my new broken futon soon otherwise the name Cymax will be associated with bad, regardless of whatever alliance produced the crappy thing. Someone better stand by this deal.

This is the perfect size for the compact space in my office. My grandkids will be using it when they stay over. It was easy to assemble with the help of my daughter. I like the quality and ease to open and close the bed. One word to the wise. Order the best mattress you can afford. Nothing worse than a great futon with a cheap mattress.
