Bosch T4B Review by S. C. Dominguez (Dallas, TX USA)
This is quite simply the best miter saw stand available today. The only other contenders for this title are possibly the Delta 36-136, the Trojan MS-2000, the Trojan TWC-35, and the Ridgid MS-UV. So what makes the Bosch better than the also-rans? Let me tell you:
Delta 36-136 - This is a nice stand, but it was not sufficiently stable for my saw. In addition, the wheels were flimsy and prone to getting stuck in mud.
Ridgid MS-UV - This stand is good, however it does not setup as quickly as the Bosch, and storing a heavy saw on this stand when it is folded up takes up a lot of space.
Trojan MS2000 - This stand is basically the Ridgid MS-UV on steroids, and is the closest contender to the Bosch. It is heavy duty, but it does not set up as quickly as the Bosch, and it has the same storage issues as the Ridgid.
Trojan TWC35 - This stand isn't a cart stand, so it isn't as portable, however, it is the sturdiest and most heavy duty of the stands. If speed, elbow grease and storage space aren't issues, then it beats everything else.
Bosch T4B - It's tougher than everything but the Trojan TWC35. It sets up and breaks down faster than anything else out there. You can store the whole system in the upright folded position, so it saves space. It has great wheels, and a quick disconnect feature to remove the saw from the stand. The only negative thing I can say about it is that it's made in China.
*****Update (3/26/2009)*****
I've had it about a year, and it's still going strong. The only maintenance it has required is that I had to air up the tires. One thing I haven't done yet but would recommend doing is considering replacing the inflatable rubber wheels with flat-free wheels. Right now, I'm having to worry about running over nails and sharp objects which slows me down, and when the wheels go flat, this thing gets really difficult to move.
Bosch T4B Review by Eric N. Landstrom (Nevis, MN United States)
I purchased the Bosch T4B for use with my Milwaukee 6955-20 miter saw on the premise that this was the only stand that didn't require bending over to set-up or break back down. Sold! The stand is very stable even with a 70 pound miter saw mounted both folded or set up. Perfect! As others have said, the stand, while relatively easy to roll around, is cumbersome in closed quarters for the only reason is that the stand is nearly 28" wide at the wheels.
A design caveat I do harbor concerns bolting the Bosch stand's removable tool mount assemblies to a Milwaukee 6955-20 miter saw. Milwaukee casts recesses to hold four six-point bolt heads into the base of their miter saws and Bosch uses nut plates that the supplied mounting bolts thread into. This creates a problem: how to thread the fixed bolts into the fixed nut plates? Rather than fetch longer bolts from the store and make four spacers which would interfere with the Milwaukee's miter movement, my solution was to partially disassemble the Bosch mounting stand assemblies by removing the plastic nut plate retainers in the rear portion of the assemblies that then allowed me to remove the rearward nut plates and spin the nut plate as though it was a nut. I then threaded the forward mounting bolt into the mounting assembly by spinning the entire mounting assembly on and then by threading the rear nut plate on as though it was a nut. After making certain everything was lined up, I replaced the plastic nut plate retainers to secure the rearward nut plate. Mounted and all good. I've included photos of my Milwaukee 6955-20 mounted to the Bosch mounting assembles sitting on workbench as well as all set up in the user submitted photos.

Do not like spending money on such products. After checking out the other types of stands (particularly those at the big boxes), I decided upon this one because the other reviews said it was sturdy and well worth the money. It is quite sturdy and a great design. It is easy to maneuver, although a bit bulky in small spaces. It is absolutely fantastic moving around the yard and up and down. I also really like the features it offers like the rails and the quick release mounts. It you are going to purchase one, this is the one I would spend the money on.
